Set in the historic African-American neighborhood of Parole Heights, Annapolis, Two Sides of the Same Porch tells the heartfelt story of estranged siblings, Pearl and Charlie, who haven’t spoken in three decades. When the city threatens to tear down their shared porch, old wounds resurface and hidden family secrets come to light. What follows is a powerful journey of laughter, love, and reconciliation.
This family-friendly dramedy blends humor, history, and live musical performances, featuring classic R&B, gospel, jazz, blues, and Southern soul. It’s a celebration of culture, community, and the strength of family bonds that will leave audiences inspired.
